We are excited to announce the launch of our new Cancer Screening Dashboard, a useful tool designed to support practices and PCNs in managing their cancer screening uptake. This dashboard provides insights into the number of screenings performed and the percentage of eligible patients screened for cervical screening, bowel screening, and breast screening.

The Cancer Screening Dashboard focuses on three cohorts: the entire eligible population, patients with learning disabilities, and those with severe mental illness (SMI). This allows practices and PCNs to identify gaps in their screening programs and improve their outreach to underserved populations.

The dashboard is powered by CEG's EMIS searches, which enables practices and PCNs to extract and analyse data from their patient records. We do not have specific targets on this dashboard, but the KPIs serve as a reference to help you evaluate your screening program's performance and make data-driven decisions.

In addition to these KPIs, we are continuously updating the dashboard to include more useful information. Soon, we will be adding EMIS templates and searches, recall lists, and service specifications/contracts. This information will help you streamline your screening process and improve your screening program's performance.

We invite you to explore our Cancer Screening Dashboard, which can be accessed at https://www.gpcg.info/cs-2023-24. We hope that this tool will help you improve your screening program's performance and, ultimately, help reduce the incidence of cancer in your patient population, particularly among underserved communities.
